Ted Boyer

Ted Boyer, 66, of Blossom, passed away Tuesday, September 01, 2015, at his home. Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Tiny Freelen officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Ted, the son of Lloyd F. & Arneva McGuire Boyer, was born Jan. 14, 1949, in Peoria, IL. On Dec. 14, 1968, he married Rebecca Kiser, building 30 years of family and memories before her death on March 9, 1999. He was also preceded in death by his father, Lloyd F. Boyer, a sister-in-law, Belinda Boyer, and his father-in-law & mother-in-law, Chester & Lois Kiser. Ted’s career at Campbell Soup Company spanned thirty-one years before his retirement. Survivors include a daughter, Stacey Boyer of Paris, a son, Mickey Boyer & wife Camey of Paris, grandchildren, John Henry Newman, Kiefer Boyer and Carson Boyer, his mother, Arneva Boyer, his identical twin, Ned Boyer, his older brother, Orville Boyer, one niece, Bonnie Boyer, three nephews, Jason Boyer, Jacob Stegall and Josh Stegall, and his friend & neighbor for 25 years, Kenneth Barnes. The family would like to extend special thanks to Paris Regional Medical Center 5th Floor West, Platinum Hospice; Cody & Jana Sanders, nurses, Lisa Martin & Lainie Cutbirth and CNA Juanita Moore. Casket bearers will be: Kenneth Barnes, Jason Boyer, Virgil Freelen, Jacob Stegall, Josh Stegall, Johnny Newman and Justin Tidwell.
