Wilma Jean Crossland

10:00 am, Friday, May 2, 2014, at Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-7 pm, Thursday, May 1, 2014 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Crossland was born December 6, 1938, in Gober, TX, to Edgar Haws Grissom and Lottie Lee Clower Grissom. She married Raymond Crossland on January 4, 1958, building 56 years of family and memories. Mrs. Crossland worked 12 years, side-by-side with her husband Raymond in their service station in Pattonville, before they closed the station and opened Crossland Garage. At that time she became a full time homemaker and directed her attention to caring for her family. Mrs. Crossland loved listening to country music, while working crossword puzzles. She was also a huge NASCAR racing fan and Carl Edwards - Car #99, was her favorite.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Marie and Anna Meil Dezault.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Keith Crossland of Pattonville and Thomas Crossland & wife Dawn of Pattonville; one sister, Imanell Stelce & husband Buck of Arlington; one brother, Wylie Grissom of Windom; grandchildren, Cody, Laurilyn, Evan, Erich and Beth, along with numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
