Christopher Haines

Chris was born in Jerome, Idaho, the youngest child and only son of Jerry and Cindy Haines of Prescott Valley. He is survived by his wife Jessica of Wenden Arizona, daughter Clarissa of Kenai Alaska, his parents and sister Marti (Bryson) of Prescott Valley and sister Stephanie (Jon) of Prescott as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and untold loving friends. He was a longtime leader and member at the Wenden Bible Church, and very active on the Wenden School Board, often visiting the school and the younger kids. Recently he portrayed the Cat in the Hat and was known lovingly as Dr. Seuss. His company Hawk Renovations helped many with projects throughout the Wenden region. Chris also invented an ointment/salve (Hawk Dok) that helped numerous people heal. He loved to hike in the mountains with his former dog Sativa that also recently died. Chris and Jessica enjoyed the attractions on Fremont Street Las Vegas. He was not a gambler but enjoyed dressing up for Halloween in elaborate costumes created by Jessica. He and Jessica have created an oasis in the desert with fish aquariums, vibrant desert plants with an irrigation system and their surviving dog Randy.

A celebration of life service is being held 1pm Saturday Marh 22, 2025 at the Wenden School gymnasium at 71001 E. Santa Fe Ave, Wenden, AZ 85357. Members of the church and school are planning a potluck after the service. It will be livestreamed and recorded to accommodate his extended family and friends in Mexico, Canada, Alaska and beyond.
