Kathleen Patricia Norris

October 6, 1946 – December 15, 2024

Kathleen Patricia Norris, lovingly known as Patty, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2024, surrounded by her children.

Born on October 6, 1946, to Zollie Byron Byrd and Louise Byrd, Patty spent her early years moving frequently as the daughter of a Navy sailor. After the passing of her father, she relocated to Parker, Arizona, where she met and married the love of her life, Jesse Vernon Norris. Patty embraced her role as a devoted mother to Vernon’s four children—Robert, Andrew, Barbara, and Heidi—and together they expanded their family with the addition of two daughters, Jennifer and Elizabeth.

Patty’s life and ministry was a testament to her steadfast faith. She found joy in worship and the study of scripture and lived each day guided by her spiritual convictions. Though Patty has departed this earthly life, her legacy lives on through the countless lives she has impacted. May all she leaves behind find comfort in knowing that she is resting peacefully in the eternal embrace of Jesus.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, grandson Tylor and loving husband of nearly fifty years, Jesse Vernon Norris. She is survived by all six of her children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will take place at Grace Assembly of God Church in Parker, AZ on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 10:30 AM with a reception to follow. Internment will take place at the Parker Cemetery at 2:00 PM. All are welcome to attend.
