
Adrian K. (Bob) Lowe, 83, of Vienna, went home to be with the Lord Oct. 14, 2010 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was born Dec. 29, 1926 in Colkeys, WV, an adopted son of the late Mayford and Addie Payton Lowe. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in WWII, a truck driver, factory worker, and a high crane operator for the Chrysler Corp. He attended the Pleasant View Baptist Church for several years and was an avid listener and supporter of BBN and WCVV Radio.
He is survived by four daughters, Brenda (Lowe) McAtee and husband Sam of Greek, SC, Ronda (Lowe) Roelle and husband Chuck of Fostoria, OH, step-daughters Glenda (Cooney) Rios and husband Dan of Tucson, AZ, and Hilda (Batten) Pritchard of Canton, OH; daughter-in-law, Marlies Cooney of Germany; one brother, Lloyd Winans of Parkersburg; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
In addition to his adoptive parents, he was preceded in death by his mother, Susie (Kimble) Winans; his wife, Bobbie J. (Shields) Cooney Lowe; one son, James Cooney; four brothers, Bill, Bud, Junior, and George Winans; and two sisters, Virgie Fox of Harrisville, WV, and Geraldine McCauley of Valley Head, WV.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Loyd Winans officiating. Entombment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens with military rites provided by the American Legion Post 15.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
