Betty L Hayes, 96 of Parkersburg, WV passed away January 6, 2021 at Parkersburg Care Center. She was born October 2, 1924, in Wood County, WV, a daughter of the late Camden Brookover and Della Williams Brookover. Betty was a member of the Cedar Grove United Methodist Church. She graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1943. She was employed at the tile plant, Clay water district, and The Parkersburg News. She is survived by her sister in-law, Josie Brookover of Lubeck and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harol Hayes; three brothers, Charles, Cecil, Don Brookover; and two sisters, Helen Hart, and Lottie Phillips.
