He was born in Parkersburg, WV on December 5, 1966 a son of the late Majorie Provance and Ira Clayton Young.
He graduated from PSHS and went to WVUP here he received his millwrights. He worked for Walker for 19 years in the Millwights Union and Exel for 12 years before he got sick.
Brian was Brenda’s soulmate and best friend. They had been together for over 40 years.
He was the father to Brian Jr. (Tabatha) and special beloved niece, Melissa Brookover (Matthew)
He left behind his favorite little people, his grandkids, Bubba, Jolen, and Khloe.
He is also survived by one sister, Sandra (Steve) Bailey, six nieces and nephews, and his best friend who will miss him dearly, Ron Harley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Young, and his beloved dog, Ziva.
Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Monday January 13, 2025 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at the funeral home.
