She was born in New Martinsville, WV on October 25, 1961 to Shirley Schoonover and the late Robert Butler.
Carla was an RN and based her life on taking care of people and animals with the Humane Society. She also enjoyed gardening and was a member of 14th Ave. Gospel Mission in Parkersburg and she so loved the Lord.
She is survived by her significant other Steve Fransworth, daughter Brandy Buracchio (Jeromy), son Justin Brinn (Samantha), brothers, Robert Butler Jr., Thomas Butler-Morris and Damon Butler, and sister, Kayla Figueroa; granddaughters Ashley (Casey), Brittany (Grace), Isabella, Mackenzie, Abigail, Hailey, Hannah and 6 great-grandchildren.
She is also leaving behind her loving pets, Spike, Ozzie, Harley, Miss Kitty, Pickles, Baby, Monkey, and Little Girl, who she cared for deeply.
Friends and family will be received at Sunset Memorial Funeral on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 8pm. The funeral service will be Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at 1:00 pm and burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
