He was born April 2, 1950 in Muskingum County, OH a son of the late Fred Brace and Orpha Toney Brace.
Charles worked at Kardex as a plant supervisor until his retirement. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing. Most of all, he enjoyed time spent with family.
Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Cynthia Brace; son, Chad Brace of NC; daughters, Heather (Chad) Bloss of Washington, WV, Lisa (Marcus) Allen of Charleston, WV; brother, Thomas (Mary Jo) Brace of Parkersburg, WV; niece, Amy (Jerry) Marlot; grandchildren, Michael, Aaron Nathan Macke, Cade, Laina, Cole Murray, and Cason Bloss.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Brace.
Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Friday May 31, 2024 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 12 P.M. to 2 P.M. at the funeral home.
