Dottie retired from United National Bank for many years making many friends along the way. She loved being with people and talking about her family. She also enjoyed Bingo and her friends at the VFW Post 1212 on Mondays and Thursdays. But most of all she loved her family, always there for them, even in the last few months she would rally in spirit when her family came to visit her. She was a great cook and no family get-together was without her Potato salad, which always seemed to disappear first.
The Family would like to thank the Staff of Housecalls Hospice and the Arbors of Marietta for making her comfortable in her final days. To her dear friend Kathy Varchetto who was with her as she drew her final breath on this earth. We are grateful Thank You from all of us.
At her request there will be no funeral, but we will have a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 from 6 to 8 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 1934 Dupont Road, Parkersburg, WV.
