Helen L Blosser

Helen was born March 10, 1938 in Parkersburg, WV to Arthur Lewis and Nellie Elizabeth {Frazier} Vaughn.

Helen had been an upholsterer since 1966 and retired from that industry. She collected cookie jars, bells and any JFK or especially Johnny Cash memorabilia. Helen loved taking trips with her family and taking care of all the neighborhood kids. She enjoyed auctions, garage sales and making stupid biscuits.

Helen will be deeply missed by sons, Patrick Harold (Sherry) Blosser, David Alan (Rosie) Blosser, daughters, Cynthia Lucille (Raymond) Barker, Diana Lynn (Robert) Wright all of Parkersburg, Sandra Kay Blosser, Williamstown, Loretta Ann (Bob) Enoch, Belleville, Carolyn (Sonny) Allen, Arizona, grandchildren, Susan (James) Wright Dinning , Christy Wright Pittaway, Mark Barker, Michael Allagus, Jennifer Blosser, Jessica Blosser, James (Samantha) Blosser, Austin Blosser, Brandon (Briana) Blosser, Josh (Dionne) Enoch , Jared Enoch, Nick Teweksbury, great-grandchildren, twins Kristan and Tristan Allagas, twins Arron and Ashley Pittaway, Eric Pittaway and Tim Dinnin, Wyatt Blosser, William Dowler, Gabriel Teweksbury, Lewis Guinn and numerous nieces and nephews, brother, Jack Wayne (Beverly) Vaughn, sister in law, Patty Vaughn, Parkersburg, sisters, Lynn “Vaughn” (Gerald) Sims, Wilma “Vaughn” (Hareld) Jeffrey, Lena “Jean” V. “Vaughn” Murphy, Florida. Helen was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 59 years Harold Avis, granddaughter, Angela Barker Allagas and grandsons Ted Pittaway and baby boy Blosser, brothers, Carl Jacob Vaughn, Arthur Vaughn, sisters, Garnet E “Vaughn” Arbogast . Visitation will be Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 10 to 1 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Funeral services will follow at 1
