Henry B. Life

Burl was born December 18, 1937 in Parkersburg, West Virginia to Reverend Joseph and Estel {Conger} Life. He was a 1957 graduate of Parkersburg High School. Burl was a United States Navy Veteran, retired from Kaiser, was in the Blennerhassett Flying Club of Belpre and a member of the Lubeck United Methodist Church where he was Treasurer of his Sunday school class.

Burl married Sandra Westfall on December 2, 1961.

Burl will be deeply missed by his wife Sandra; son Matthew Burl Life and Heidi his wife; daughter, Kimberly Kay Braun and Steven her husband; twin brother, Joseph Life; sisters, Nellie Simms & Mary Wine Chekowsky; grandchildren, Katelyn, Nicholas and Taylor Braun; two step grandchildren, Brooke Hall and Brittany Sydenstricker and two step great granddaughters.

Burl was preceded in death by his sisters Viola Powell, Irene Hubacher, Nora Strawderman and brother Virgil Life.

Friends may call Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Reverend James Martin officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Park.
