Jerry Lee McClain

Jerry was born August 6, 1938 in Normantown, West Virginia to Doy and Mable {Boggs} McClain.

Jerry graduated from Normantown High School and was a Navy Veteran.

He married Sandy Williams on April 4, 1964.

Jerry was employed as a gaffer at Corning and then Schott Glass and formerly owned and operated McClain Restaurant and Esso. He attended Lubeck Church of Christ and was a member of The American Legion Post 15. Jerry loved to play baseball and basketball, hunting and fishing and watching football. Jerry thought his hometown was great and enjoyed telling others about it.

Jerry will be deeply missed by his wife, son, Steven and daughter, Kristin Lewis (Paul) both of Parkersburg and grandchildren, Jacob, Justin and Katlyn Patterson.

Jerry was preceded in death by his brothers, Gerald and Linn McClain and sister Patsy Frame.

Friends may call Tuesday, June 9, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Evangelist Steven Fuchs officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens.
