He was born on Aug. 23, 1926 in Ravens Cliff, WV, a son of the late Dudley and Mazie Tolliver Milam. He was a member of the Open Door Baptist Church in Marietta.
He is survived by his three sons, David (Sandy) Milam, Ronnie Milam, and Mark Milam; two daughters, Barbara Josey and Laurie (Ed) Stevenson; two step-sons, John Riel and Brian (Billie Jean) Charlton; one step-daughter, Victoria Wolf; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marcella Cornell Milam, and several brothers and sisters.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 14 at the Open Door Baptist Church, 305 Franklin St., Marietta, with the Rev. Keith Kapple officiating. Inurnment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens. Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg is assisting the family.
