Whitey was born July 23, 1935 in Vincent, OH the son of Marion Bailey Sr. and Mabel Paxton Bailey both deceased.
He retired in 1997 after 30 years with Kardex Systems, Reno, OH. He was a Boy Scout leader for several years and was in Naval Reserves for 8 years. He also loved motorcycling, camping, outdoors and especially visiting Dolly Sods, WV.
Whitey will be deeply missed by his wife, Wilda of 61years, he is survived by one son Mark (Rhea) one son Eric and one daughter Lisa Sundstrom (Michael) all of Parkersburg. Also two grandsons Jeremy (Brittany) and Alex, one step grandson Travis (Kelly) Graham, two great grandsons Chance and Ryker and one step great-granddaughter Willow.
Visitation will be Friday, May 5, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Dan Stevens officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens.
