Nancy A Moore

She was born April 6, 1941 in Parkersburg, West Virginia to Overton and Nancy {Martin} Thorne.

She was employed by Stork’s Baking Company as a secretary for 40 years. She was a graduate of Parkersburg High School. In 1959, Nancy, was State Individual Tennis Champion of West Virginia. Along with her late husband, Bobby and their son, Rob and daughter-in-Law, Gina they owned and built Moore’s Storage on Core Road.

She is survived by her only son, Robert Thorne Moore and wife Gina Faye of Parkersburg. She is also survived by her step-son, Bill Moore and wife Lisa of Florida; numerous step-grandkids and great step-grandkids. She will also be missed by her loving companions, Coco and Joey.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Overton and Nancy Thorne, loving husband Bobby of 47 years, an infant sister, Lena Virginia Thorne and several special Aunts and Uncles.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 6, 2016 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 11 at the funeral home with Pastor Carolyn Nettles officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens.
