Ricky Craig Arthur, 69, of Waverly, WV passed away peacefully at his home June 6, 2023 following an extended illness. Rick was a kind, caring person who loved the outdoors and his family. He is survived by his mother, Emma R. Greathouse Arthur of Mineral Wells, WV, one sister, Cheryl Metz, also of Mineral Wells, WV, one brother, Bob (Susan) Arthur of Lubeck, WV. Two sons, Travis “Shane” Arthur of Waverly, WV, who lived with and cared for him, Tony Vance of Lincolnton, NC, one step-son, Jamie Jay of St. Marys, WV, one daughter, April Adkins of Dobson, NC., and three grandchildren, 2 nieces and 3 nephews.
Rick was preceded in death by his father Otha Coral “Bob” Arthur.
Visitation will be from 11am- 1pm on Friday, June 9, 2023, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, with funeral services at 1 pm. Burial to follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
