Robert Thomas "The Gov" Wallace

Robert was born May 18, 1943 in Denver, Colorado to Harry B. and Muriel {Canon} Wallace.

Robert graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1963, attended Parkersburg Community College and was an Army Veteran.

Robert married Pamela Adams on August 25, 1978. Was previously married to Peggy (Hilton) Wallace.

Robert was employed at G.E. Plastics for 35 years in the Maintenance Store Room and he was avidly involved in attempting to organize a Union in the plant. He was a member of The Moose Club #1118 and spent his last years caring and loving his children who he wanted the best for. He also loved spending time with his special friends at the garage and took great pleasure in making sure everyone around him was having a wonderful time. Bob will be deeply missed by his wife, sons, David Hilton (Sara), Parkersburg, Harry Wallace (Ashleigh), Bluffton, SC, daughters, Susan Parsons (Mike), Parkersburg, Melodie Renaudette (Travis), Ridgeland, SC, Kathleen Wallace (Darrell), Coolville, OH, Teresa Wallace, Parkersburg, Crystal Wallace (Jody), Washington, WV, brother Donald Wallace, Parkersburg, 12 grandchildren, Chalynne, Courtney, Brandon, Hailey, Siera (Zack), Lyle, Robert II, Kendra, Tyler, J.T., Jacob and Brooklyn, 2 great grandchildren, Berkley and Tristyn. Robert was preceeded in death by his parents and brothers, Ralph and Harry (Herk). In honoring Robert’s request there will be a private family service at the convenience of the family.
