He was born October 31, 1947, in Parkersburg, WV, a son of the late Robert Wilson and Glenna Veon.
Roger retired from DuPont after many dedicated years in accounting. He shared 58 1/2 wonderful years with his beloved wife, Judy Wilson. He had a deep love for music and could play nearly any instrument with strings, though the guitar held a special place in his heart. He will be greatly missed, but his memory and legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Judy Wilson; daughter, Carey (Mark) Klies; grandsons Luke and David Klies; brother, Sam Wilson; sister, Janice Vincent;several half-siblings; and many friends he made during his life.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Jody Wilson; brother, Rodney Wilson; and sister-in-law, Becky Wilson.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
