Sharon was born June 9, 1949 in Parkersburg, WV to Clifford Bryon and Glenna Evelyn{ Allen} Cothern.
She enjoyed vacationing, doing word puzzles and shopping. She also enjoyed spending time with friends and family especially her granddaughter Vivian.
Sharon will be deeply missed by her son, Matthew (Tara) Pierce of Parkersburg, WV, brother, Bernard Cothern of Mineral Wells, WV and granddaughter, Vivian.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Michael Edman and son, Christopher Pierce.
Visitation will be Monday, December 23, 2019 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Casey Dawson officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens.
