Shelby Jean Wade

Shelby was a home maker and a yard sale Queen! She was a member of the ladies auxiliary and enjoyed baking hot rolls, cinnamon rolls and peanut brittle for the Christian Life Center, where she was a dedicated member and Janitor. She later became a member of the Cross Church. Her life revolved around her Family and her church.

Shelby is survived by her 3 Sons, Randall Carmichael (Judy) Mineral Wells, WV, Alan Carmichael Parkersburg, WV and James Wade (Kim) Vienna, WV; 2 Daughters, Sheila Munday (Duane) ST. Marys, WV, Lisa Fought (Keith) Carmichaels, PA; 2 Step-Daughters, Patty Westfall (Richard) Abington, VA, Linda Wade of WA; Brother, Ronald Sams (Pat) Mineral Wells, WV and Sister, Dottie Longwell, Parkersburg, WV; 19 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, Shelby is proceeded in death by her Husband, James Wade; 2 Sons, Joseph Carmichael, Wayne Wade; 5 Siblings, William Sams, Robert Sams, Donald Sams, Betty Tucker, Vaunda Cale and 3 infant siblings.

Visitation will be Monday, September 18, 2023 from 5-8 P.M at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at 11 A.M. with Pastor David Bounds officiating, with visitation 1 hour prior to service with burial to follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
