Chuck worked hard, played hard and loved hard.
He loved his job with Sask. Power, which spanned 36 years. He loved sports and hunting, and he has many trophies which attest to his skills, and above all he loved his family.
He loved his parents Howard and Mildred (Matheson) Burks, his sisters, Joan Martin and Janet Campbell, and his brother Grant (deceased).
Chuck loved his sons, Dean and Curtis. He was so fiercely proud of them both, of the wonderful men they have become.
He loved his daughters in law, Darlene and Barb whom he could not have loved more if they were his own daughters.
He loved his grandson, Michael. Who is so much like him, you know Chuck will live on through him.
He loved his granddaughter, Stephanie. From the moment she wrapped her baby fist around his finger, she owned him.
And above all, he loved me, and above all I love you, Chuck. Since I was 18 years old you have been my husband, my lover and my best friend. I have absolutely no idea how I am going to live without you.
