He is survived by his wife Geri, daughter Jennifer (Mike), son Geoff (Angie), 5 grandchildren –Hannah, Leah, Lukah Shabbits; Karah, Natasha Reamer; sisters Carol, Barbara (Jim), and brother Gary (Lu). Predeceased by grandson baby Noah Shabbits.
A service to honour Chuck will be held at Christ Community Church, 2221 Bowen Road, Nanaimo, on Saturday, March 18, at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers a donation to the BC Cancer Foundation would be welcome.
