Dear Elaine and family,

We are sorry to hear about your loss of Dale. We recall those years when we were neighbours in Elbow Park. I also remember Dale helping me with our extension (in about 1979/80). Dale was also my company lawyer until he retired. Dale was a fine man.

I just became aware of Dale's passing. I will always remember my association with Dale when we shared offices at Ghitter and Company. I remember the many discussions we had and Dale was always upbeat, cheerful and positive. Dale always had time if you needed someone to talk to and Dale's legal expertise was always of the highest standard.
My sincere condolences go out to Elaine and family.

I will always remember Dale for his intelligence and whit. So interesting to talk to and swap stories. I am very grateful for the time that I knew him.

Dear Elaine, Matthew and Paul:      

Please accept our deepest sympathy on the passing of your husband and father to you two boys.   We remember Dale as a good neighbour and enjoyed the days when the boys were young and climbed our apple tree on to the garage roof.  

 Times have sure gone quickly as I see the two boys are now married.   Olivia is still single and working as a paramedic at the South Hospital in Calgary.  She is in South Africa at the moment as her step Mom died on Tuesday.   Ted and I will go to S.A either in January or February to stay with my brother for a month or so.

We are now living in a condo on Royal Avenue and love it having sold the house about 3 years ago.

Again please accept our sympathy and if you visit Calgary, do give us a call and visit or stay with us.

It's been said that you don't need a lot of friends, you need good friends. Dale was a great friend. Chatting with Elaine today we realized we'd known each other for 21 years. Dale was part of some the darkest times in my life and some of the brightest. His kindness and concern were never far away. I'm going to watch the World Series tonight and toast my dear friend and some great ballpark memories. Our deepest sympathies to Elaine, Paul, and Mathew.

Elaine, I am so sorry to hear of Dale's passing.  He was a truly genuine person.


I was shocked and saddened to read that Dale had passed away.  My sincere sympathy to all of you at this difficult time.  I hope happy memories will help all of you through your loss.  I have such good memories of all of you at Elbow Park and often wonder what all of my "kids" are doing.  My thoughts, prayers and best wishes are with you.

Dear Mrs. Guenther and family,

I wish to express my sincere condolences to you and your family during this very difficult time.  I knew and dealt with Dale professionally for many years while working at Court of Queen's Bench.  Over the years, I saw Dale frequently either going to Court representing his clients or filing documents at the Clerk's Office.  Dale was very kind to us all, he was cheerful, happy and always greeted everyone with a smile on his face.  Dale will be missed by everyone who knew him at the Court House in Calgary.

Hello Mrs. Guenther, Matthew, Paul and family,
I am so sad to hear of Mr. Guenther's passing. He was an amazing man and truly an inspiration in my life. He impacted so many people in everything part his life.
