Dan passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025, at Stanford Seniors Village, Parksville BC. Dan leaves behind his wife Nancy, of Qualicum Beach; son Kevin/Jody, grandson Kurtis/Becca; great-granddaughter Kinsley; grandson Kristofer; all of Parksville; daughter Pam/Jim Prewett; granddaughter Claudia, grandson Jameson all of Victoria; son Warren/Anjie, granddaughter Payton, grandson Gavin, of Kelowna. Dan was born in Abbotsford, BC on September 14, 1939 and was raised in Matsqui along with older brother, Ian (deceased)/Ann of Coquitlam, and younger brother Bob/Sandy of Abbotsford, many nieces and nephews. He spent most of his working life with groceries, starting out with Overwaitea Foods while attending high school. He made many friends over the years who he remembered and talked about often. He loved to sing and sang at many weddings. He joined musical theatre groups in every town he was transferred to. He was also an avid golfer, curler, and lawn bowler. Dan's warmth and humor will be cherished forever, and he will be missed by all who knew him. Celebration of life to be held in the spring.
