Doug passed away peacefully after a brief battle with cancer. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Beverly, daughter Andrea, son Brent (Odette), grandchildren Sebastian, Sasha, and Penelope, brother Bill (Marie), sisters Jean (George) Maaren, Marion (Tom) Konopski, and many extended family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held October 25, 2012 at 1:30 pm at Yates Funeral Service, 1000 Allsbrook Road, Parksville, BC.In lieu of flowers please send donations to Nanaimo Palliative Care or Oceanside Hospice.
