Ed was born in Saskatoon, as a child his family moved to Winnipeg where he met & married the love of his life Louise Marie Milner. After their marriage they relocated to Alberta to raise their family. Upon retirement they built a home on a mountain near Sicamous, BC. Sadly Louise passed away in 2019. Eventually Ed moved to Vancouver Island where he lived near family for the remainder of his life. Ed was a proud Steamfitter with local union 488, an author, inventor and had a strong interest in astrophysics.
Predeceased by his wife (Louise), his sisters (Doreen & Judy), his son-in-law (Lloyd) and his nephew (Glenn), he leaves to mourn: his children Susan (Grant), Lisa, Rodger (Kathy), his grandchildren: Marryann & Wendy & his great grandchildren: Alyx (Rebecca), Christopher & Jonathan and his nephews Brian, Wayne, Ronald & niece Charmane.
