Graham was born in London, England in 1943 and worked at Kodak UK in the labs. In 1967 he made his way to Toronto where he worked at Kodak Canada. In 1969 on a trip back from the UK he met his future wife Nancy (a Canadian) who he married at Strathroy, Ont. her home town. Both of them worked in Toronto until 1971 when they returned to the UK. Graham accepted a position with Du Pont as a sales representative for the west country living in a small village just outside Bristol. In 1975 he accepted a position as head printer for Jordans a company registration firm, and later headed up their entire print operations. In 1992 he set up his own print firm with Nancy which they operated for 13 years before retiring and returning to Canada in 2005 to be closer to their two children who had earlier immigrated to Canada. For 6 years they enjoyed their retirement in Kelowna and then moved to Nanaimo to be closer to the grandchildren. While in Nanaimo, Graham was diagnosed with dementia but it didn’t stop him from enjoying his games of lawn and carpet bowling and tennis and giving talks about wine.
He leaves his wife Nancy of 53 years; son, Gary (Lindsay); daughter, Karen (Chris); and 5 grandchildren, Marcus, Alex, Nicky, Ollie, Ellie.
Many thanks to Eden Gardens for their support in caring for Graham for the last three years. There will be no memorial service as per his wishes.
