James Ryan BALL

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of James.  Born in Port Alberni on May 2, 1973, James passed peacefully and unexpectedly in his sleep on Friday, March 11,2016.  He is survived by his loving daughters, Breanne (Dedo) Ball and Kaylee (Sheldon) Ball; mother, Elaine  (Arne) Ostergard; father, Brian (Marsha) Ball;  brothers, Willie Ball, and Shawn (Debbie) Ball, sister, Lori (Daryl) Crowston Colville; grandparents, Ron and Grace Gunderson; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended famiy members and friends.  James was predeceased by his brother, Alex Ball.

James' fun loving and larger than life personality drew people to him.  He loved and touched many people with his ability to connect, laugh, and socialize.  He will be remembered for his love of music, contribution bravery, and the ability to make people laugh.  He was a fun loving father and always took pride in showing his children how much he loved them.

A Memorial Service will be held in his honour at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 8, 2016.  A Celebration of Life will directly follow the service at the Coombs Rodeo Grounds.
