Jessie Isabel Victoria Norrie

October 10, 1938 - December 3, 2021

On December 3, 2021, Jessie Isabel Victoria Norrie passed away peacefully at home in Nanoose Bay BC, at the age of 83.

Jessie is survived by Robert, her loving husband of 60 years; sons: Stephen (Hazel) and Michael; daughter-in-law Janet; grandchildren: Matthew, Andrew, Jessica, and Aaron; sister: Lanny (Jack); brother: Edwin (Elizabeth); brother-in-law Bill Norrie; and many nieces and nephews.

Jessie was predeceased by son Paul (in 2021); granddaughter Emily (in 2017); brothers: Doug (Irene), John (Elsie), and Keith (Sylvia); and parents: Victor and Minnie Fry.

Jessie was born and grew up in Toronto. After marrying Robert in 1961 and raising their three sons, she began her career, spending several years in accounting for a large corporation. She and Robert started their own tax accounting practice in 1987 through to retirement in 2007. Jessie and Robert enjoyed an active life of travelling, skiing, and sailing, which continued after moving to Vancouver Island in 2013.

Jessie was deeply loved and cherished by her husband and family. She will be greatly missed.

Immediate family will be having a private memorial later this month.
