John Arthur CLARKSON

John served the Town of Caledon in Ontario for several years as Mayor and Regional/local Councillor while raising his family and operating a successful dairy farm. After he moved to BC, he spent 2 terms as a director of the Cowichan Valley Regional District while trying his hand at raising Icelandic horses.

Son of Irwin and Beatrice (Wanless) Clarkson (deceased), brother of Ron Clarkson.

Dearly loved husband of Jane (Ferguson). Father of John, Sandra (Steve), Diane (Leonard), Paul (Kari), Sara (Rob), Johnna-Jane (Warren), David, Susan (Darryl) and Wendy. Uncle to Debra (Andrew). Grandfather of Lindsey (Eric), Amelia (Ben), Chloe, Wade, Sydney, Russell and Keeley, Great Grandfather to Gillian.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 29th at 1:00pm at Yates Memorial Services, 1000 Allsbrook Rd, Parksville, BC, followed by cremation. Interment of ashes in Boston Mills Cemetery in Caledon, Ontario at a later date.
