Lloyd passed away at home on December 19, 2012, after a six month battle with cancer. He was born in Russell, Manitoba, August 30, 1943 and raised in Saskatchewan. Lloyd came to BC in 1972.
He was predeceased by his parents Garnet and Alberta, brothers Garnet and Gerald, sisters Mary Austman and Ellen Scott.
He is survived by his loving wife Joan and very special dog, Danny; also surviving are sisters Evelyn Baseley, Alice (John) Ireland, Margaret (Cameron) Duncan, Verna Bjorgen, Lorraine Huber and friend Gerry; brothers Dave (Anna), Alex, Roy (Debbie), as well as several nieces and nephews.
Lloyd enjoyed walking his dog, working in the garden and visits from his family.
There was no service by his request. Lloyd will be laid to rest in the Ingleside Cemetery in Saskatchewan. For those who wish, donations may be made in Lloyd’s memory to the SPCA – 4936 Broughton Street, Port Alberni, BC V9Y 8R6
