It is with great sadness that we announce that Lois Lloyd of Nanoose Bay, BC entered into eternal peace the morning of March 15th, 2017. Lois was predeceased by her husband Melward Lloyd. She leaves her loving memory to be cherished by her common-law spouse, Dr. Robert Grimble; son, Mark Lloyd (Adrienne) and their daughter Brooklyn Lloyd, who was Lois’ little pride and joy; stepsons, Troy Lloyd (Stacey), Ken Lloyd (Rose Sakman) and their son, Craig Lloyd, Kevin Lloyd, Marty Lloyd; stepdaughter, Wendy Lloyd (Don Spruit) and their daughter Melanie Lloyd.
Lois lived in Edmonton, Alberta for most of her life and had a long career with the Alberta Government prior to retiring and moving to the Island.
She was one of the kindest people you could ever meet and will be greatly missed by her many friends and family members. Our hearts will be filled with the many memories and laughs we shared with her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lois’ name to the Nanaimo Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit, 1200 Dufferin Crescent, Nanaimo, BC V9S 2B7
