

Lynda was born on December 5, 1945 to Mildred and Henry Muceus in Provo, Utah. The family moved to Toulumne, California where her dad was the high school principal. She graduated from Pittsburg High School in Pittsburgh, California in 1963 with a scholarship to Berkeley. She attended University of Utah where she met her first husband, Merlin Bradley, a Canadian. They married and moved to Vancouver Island. Lynda and Merlin had two children, Sarah Jean (1968) and Aaron (1971). After Lynda and Merlin divorced, she married Stuart Adams, and they had a son, Jonathon (1975) and Lynda was later widowed. She was also widowed by her third husband, Thomas McPherson, from Errington.
Lynda had a teaching certificate from Simon Fraser University and later obtained a LPN from Vancouver Island University. She worked with her best friend, Sylvia Clendenan of Coombs, at the Port Alberni Hospital until she retired in 2008.
Lynda loved to garden, pick mushrooms, beachcomb, sing, and play the piano. She also befriended and doted on disadvantaged characters in the Parksville community, including them like family in Thanksgiving, Easter, and Christmas celebrations.
Lynda is predeceased by her parents; her three husbands; and two brothers, Steve Wood and Jon Muceus. She is survived by her brother, Ed Muceus (Annebet) of Paradise Valley, Nevada; sister, Cheryl Muceus of Abiquiu, New Mexico; stepmother, Laura Muceus of Lacey, Washington; half-sisters, Mary Conklin (Alan), Adriene Brownfield (Jim), and Rebecca Stephens (Dennis), all of Olympia, Washington. She is also survived by her daughter, Sarah Jean Bradley of Victoria; sons, Aaron Bradley (Sarah) of French Creek, and Jon Adams of Errington; four grandchildren; 17 nieces and nephews; and 19 great nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital, Victoria General Hospital, and Stanford Place for their care and kindness to Lynda.
