Richard Wayne CROWE

He is survived by his wife Joan, his brother Don, his sons Andrew (Paula) and Stephen and his daughter Catharine. He is also survived by his step-children Cal (Rose), Lynda (Jamie) and Barb (Rene) and their children Alex, Alexx, Amanda, Katie, Meghan, Taran and Ainsley.

One of Wayne's great joys was the grandchildren. As far as Wayne was concerned they were the smartest and best looking children there ever were. He adored them all.

Wayne was a very social person and was also known for his kindness. He was a life member in the Kinsmen Club as well as an auxiliary member of the Canadian Legion for 13 years and belonged to various other groups throughout his life.

The family would like to thank Trillium Lodge for the care they gave Wayne the last 3 years.

There will be a celebration of his life on Saturday, May 28th from 12pm to 4pm at The Bradley Center, 975 Shearme Rd., Parksville, BC. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Wayne's name to the Alzheimer's Society of BC.
