Self employed, he owned and operated Climate Control until he sold the business to his partners in the 90's. Bob was a Lifetime Member of Gyro, a member of the Masons, and RCL Branch #169. He loved to spend time with his family and friends at his cabin on Cheeyah Island. Bob loved to cook up a storm and always made a BIG mess in the kitchen. The family would like to thank the staff at Heritage for taking such good care of Bob during his three + years with them. A very special thanks goes out to the nurses, care aids, and staff at Ty Watson House for making Bob's last days comfortable and peaceful. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please make a donation to Ty Watson House in Bob's memory.
A Celebration of Life will be held in his honour from 1:00 to 4:00 on Sunday, March 8th at the Port Alberni Lawn Bowling Club, A- 4225 Wallace Street in Port Alberni.
