Ronald Patrick SIMPSON

With heavy hearts we announce Ron’s passing at the Nanaimo Regional Hospital on Friday, May 13th, 2016.  He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Pat; children, Wendy, Janice and Ron; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and numerous extended friends and family members. 

Born and raised in Burnaby, Ron spent his 35 year career as a lineman working in various parts of the lower mainland.  He was a true family man who cherished the time with his family.  Together they spent many happy hours enjoying outdoor activities - especially fishing and camping. 

The family would like to thank the staff at NRGH for the excellent care they provided to Ron during his time with them.  In keeping with his wishes, there will not be a formal service.  Those wishing to honour his memory may do so by making a donation in his name to a charity of their choice.
