Altagracia Rivera

Altagracia Cuellar Rivera also known as Gracie, daughter of Arnulfo and Tomasa Cuellar. She was born in Waelder, TX on April 3, 1926 and was called home on April 8, 2023. Mother was bold, faithful, and had a love for Jesus and share the love of God. She was an active member of the surrounding community and volunteering at her local church, and school. She is survived by children Rosa and Rudulfo Galvan, Antonio Rivera, Patricia and Javier Escalona. Grandchildren Mark Rivera, Christina and Carlos Melgar, Jacob Escalona, and Clarisa Escalona. Four Great Granddaughters and one Great Grandson.

A Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday April 19, 2023 beginning from 3:00pm - 8:00pm with a Service starting at 6:00pm - 7:00pm at Funeraria Del Angel 901 Main St. Pasadena, TX 77506. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday April 20, 2023 beginning at 10:30am. Interment will follow after the Funeral Mass at 12:00pm at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery at 6900 Lawndale St. Houston, TX 77023. A reception will follow after the burial, the Rivera family welcomes anyone who would like to gather with them to celebrate the life and cherished memories they have of Altagracia. The reception will be at 8106 Gulick Ln, Houston, TX, 77075 at 3:00pm.
