Bobby Donald Diaz, Jr., 61, was born on March 24, 1963, and peacefully went to be with his Lord on Sunday, February 9, 2025. He was born in Lynwood, California, to the late Bobby Donald Diaz, Sr. and the late Charlene Merrell.
Bobby was married to his beloved wife, Ana, and together they shared a remarkable 40 years of love, laughter, and devotion. Throughout their years together, they raised their children and cherished time spent with their grandchildren.
He dedicated his career to working as a Chemical Operator at Reichhold Chemical in Houston, Texas, where he contributed his skills and dedication for many years.
Bobby had a deep passion for sports. Whether watching on TV or attending his grandchildren's games, he was always thrilled by the excitement sports brought. A lover of good food, Bobby also enjoyed cooking up delicious barbecues for his family, making every gathering feel even more special.
Above all, Bobby’s greatest joy was spending time with his family. He was a man of great strength, love, and unwavering faith. As a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he set an example for his family of what it meant to love unconditionally and be there through all of life’s moments.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Ana, children Criscelda (Jeremiah) Flores and Catherine (Tony) Diaz; grandchildren Jayden Arispe, Ava Flores, Evelynn Escareno, Penelope Flores, Jordan Garza, and Briella Garza; siblings Curtis Roane, Tony Diaz, Sandra Helken, Teri Barnes; and stepmother Marilyn Diaz, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Bobby’s legacy of love and devotion will continue to inspire all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and all those whose lives he touched. May his spirit bring comfort to those who grieve, and may his legacy remind us all of the value of family, faith, and love.
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
