Carolyn attended private and public schools in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in 1967. She was the type of person you loved to sit down and talk to with a cup of coffee. She was a good listener. She played the accordion for awhile when she was a teenager. Due to some health issues, Carolyn was not able to continue playing the accordion, but she liked to dance, and she liked the music of the 60s. One of her favorite bands was Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass, which was also one of the family’s favorites. Because our parents taught us to be strong and always treat people courteously, Carolyn learned some important values that would take her through life. She maintained poise and a sweet personality. If you talked to Carolyn for a short while, you felt like you knew her. Carolyn’s lifetime of work consisted of staying constant in her relationships with others – always being a good friend and trusted confidante. She was also entrusted with taking care of her mental health which for her, made it impossible to maintain a steady job. She will always be remembered for being so sweet. The world is a better place for Carolyn being in it. Survivors include 2 nieces, 2 nephews, 2 grand nephews and numerous cousins.
