Born on October 15, 1950, in Pasadena, Texas, Carolyn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was known for her wit, her competitive spirit during family game nights, her warm heart, generous nature, and unwavering love for her family. In her younger years, she enjoyed country-western dancing and was an avid bowler alongside her best friend of 66 years, Diane Wilson, and Diane’s husband, Dale.
She is survived by her son, Kelley & Julie Wilson; her cherished grandchildren: Cory Wilson, Cortney Cooper and her husband Ryan, Anthony White and his wife Samantha, and Hayley Seale. Carolyn was a proud great-grandmother to Hayden and Connor Cooper, Mason White, and Brayden and McKenzie Seale. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who will remember her fondly.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Smith; her daughter, Kimberly White; her father, Roger Carroll; her mother, Kathryn Williams; as well as her two sisters and her brother.
Her legacy of love, strength, and compassion will continue to live on through her family and all those whose lives she touched.
A celebration of Carolyn’s life will be held on June 18, 2025 at Pasadena Funeral Home.
