Born on Friday, November 29, 1935, in Agualeguas Nuevo León, México; Celia lived a life full of love and joy, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her. She is survived by her two cherished children, Orlando Chavez and Diane Chavez, as well as her sister Santa America Garza. Celia was known for her vibrant spirit and dedication to her health, being an active participant in the Silver Sneakers program at the gym, where she inspired others with her commitment to fitness. Beyond her active lifestyle, Celia found immense joy in cooking and tending to her household. She had a special love for animals, often feeding her beloved cats and their furry friends from the neighborhood. Her home was a place of warmth and kindness, where laughter and love were always present. The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful caretakers, Carla Casillas, Estefany Favela and Julieta Olivares for their compassionate care and support during Celia's final chapter. Your kindness and dedication made a significant difference in her life, and we are truly grateful.
Celia will be profoundly missed by her family, friends, and the community she touched with her generosity and spirit. She leaves behind a treasure trove of memories that will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire all of us.
Rest in peace, Celia. Your light will forever shine in our hearts.
