Christine Vallejo

Christine Vallejo, 62, of Houston, passed away on May 17, 2025. She was born in Palacios, Texas on December 6, 1962 to Facundo “Vincent” and Dolores Rodriguez. She was married to James Vallejo for 26 years, and they had a daughter, Jamie Marie.

Christine earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Houston - Clear Lake in 1998. She worked at Foley & Lardner LLP as a billing analyst where she was highly regarded.

Family and friends knew her as an admirer of Houston’s performing arts culture, a frequent guest of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and an avid Houston Texans fan. She was fond of traveling to tropical beaches, enjoyed the gaming opportunities of casinos, and was as diverse as being a participant of regional motorcycle rallies.

Christine was preceded in death by her father Vincent and brother Phillip Rodriguez.

She is survived by her daughter Jamie; grand-furbaby Cash; mother Dolores; sisters Lisa, Amanda, Alicia; 10 nieces and nephews; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; and her significant other Juan Gregorio Rodriguez.

We will remember Christine for her infectious giggle, compassionate nature, and commitment to spreading kindness to everyone she encountered.
