Daniel Lira

Daniel is survived by his parents – Jorge and Lidia Lira; his sisters – Vanessa, Lidia, Denise, Gabriela and husband Carlos Garcia ; brothers – Edgar and Jorge Lira; nephews and nieces – Damian, Natalie, Sergio, Andre, Andrea, George and Justin; Grandparents – Gonzalo and Bernardina Lira. He is preceded in death by his grandparents – Pablo and Cita Aleman.

Daniel graduated from Pasadena High School in 2007. He then moved to Austin, TX where he attended the University of Texas and was scheduled to graduate in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts, double major in Economics and Spanish.

Daniel was a great family man and friend to many. His contagious ambition and outgoing personality brightened up everyone’s day. He was a very competitive person who wouldn’t settle for less. He was an overachiever and wanted to exceed in anything that he got started in. Those dimples that went with that unforgettable smile will always be remembered. That smile is the one that brought comfort to loved ones and strangers. His laughter and know-it-all ways while trying to do the best for everyone especially his family. These and many more memories are what he will be remembered by. He will forever be engraved in our hearts by leaving an indelible mark.
