Desiderio Espinoza Torres

Desiderio "Dee" Espinoza Torres, aged 68, of Pasadena, Texas, was born on November 16, 1954, in Navasota, Texas, to Jesus Lopez Torres and Cecilia Espinoza Torres. Desiderio passed from this life into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on the morning of June 16, 2023.

Dee graduated from Austin High School in 1973. After high school, Dee's work life consisted of an extensive career in upholstery. He owned and operated his own motorcycle repair shop known as "Dee's Motorcycle Shop" and concluded his professional journey with retirement from Pasadena ISD transportation in 2021, where he worked as a bus driver and bus monitor.

He loved riding and building motorcycles, as well as developing his own photography work. Dee also enjoyed gardening and spending time growing various plants around his home.

Dee is preceded in death by his father, Jesus; his mother, Cecilia; his sister, Francis; and his brothers, Jesus and Desiderio. He is survived by his wife, Rose Maria Torres; sons, David Dee and Steven Anthony Torres; his grandson, Jonah E. Torres; and his father-in-law, David R. Delacruz. His sisters, Susie and Rosita, his brother, Johnny, as well as nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends, also survive him.

A visitation for Desiderio will be held Saturday, July 1, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 901 Main, Pasadena, TX 77506, followed by a memorial service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
