Elfreda “Ellie” Herold, 72 passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014. Ellie was born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania to her parents George and Elfreda Forster on October 26, 1941. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years Art Herold only a short 10 weeks before. She is survived by her 3 children, Teresa Finley, Arthur Herold Jr., and Michelle Olivarez; her brother Bob Forster; 8 beautiful grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved pet Bubba.
Friends and family are invited to attend her viewing at Christ Redeemer Lutheran Church, 8909 Spencer Hwy, La Porte, TX 77571 on Wednesday, May 14th from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Church on Wednesday May 15th, at 11:00 AM. Ellie will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 8701 Almeda Genoa Rd. Houston, TX.
In lieu of flowers the Family is requesting donations to Christ Redeemer Lutheran Church in her honor.
