**December 14, 1952 – September 7, 2024**
Liz Soles, born in Huntsville, left this world on September 7, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and service. Liz had her master’s degree in library science and worked in that field at San Jacinto College before moving to HCC in the financial aid department, dedicating her career to helping students achieve their dreams...
Liz’s impact on the lives she touched was immeasurable. Her deep connection with the Pasadena Philharmonic Orchestra, where she was 2nd chair viola and her passionate involvement in the Children’s Ministry at Gateway Community Church reflected her heart for creativity and compassion... She was a lover of pets and cared for two wonderful dogs who brought her immense joy. She was married to the love of her life, Ricky Soles, for 43 years and with whom she built a beautiful family, and who preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her beloved bonus son, Larry Soles. Liz is survived by her beloved bonus daughter Tamar and her husband Richard, bonus son P. Christopher, and bonus daughter-n-law Susan Soles. Her cherished grandchildren: Holly and her husband Carlos, Conrad, Kathryn, Emilie, and Mary, brought her endless pride. Liz also leaves behind her brother and sister-in-law, Michael and wife Terry, seven great-grandchildren, many nieces whom she adored, and countless friends of her grandchildren who affectionately called her "Grandma." To know Liz was to know joy.
She was the life of every party, a woman who knew how to make people laugh with her sass, sweetness, and quick wit. Yet behind her humor was a servant's heart—always ready to love, help, and guide those around her. Her love for her family, friends, and Christ Jesus knew no bounds, and her vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
Liz, you have left an imprint on our hearts that will never fade. Your laughter, love, and faith will continue to inspire us for years to come. We take comfort in knowing you are with our Lord, dancing, laughing, and making Heaven as lively as you made our lives here on earth. Rest in peace, sweet Liz. You will forever be in our hearts.
