Guadalupe "PaPa" Martinez Jr.

He is preceded in death by his mother & father Mr. Raphael Mendoza. Mr. Guadalupe Martinez Jr. was a longtime Houston Independent school district employee for over 40 years where he retired from. He enjoyed taking long rides to the Valley and visiting The Basilica Of Our Lady of San Juan del Valle. He is survived by his children and their spouses Delia Martinez, Luis & Darlene Martinez, Rocio & Jesus Gonzalez, Mario Martinez- Rutkowski & Dustin Rutkowski, Erica & Jose E. Hernandez. His grandchildren Joe A. Perez Jr., David Gonzalez, Javier Gonzalez & Gabe Jayden Hernandez. Mr. Guadalupe Martinez’s youngest daughter Mrs. Erica Hernandez would like to extend her deepest gratitude to her father’s caretakers Cynthia Barrera and Lesly Martinez for the patience and medical care they gave in return. Her son’s Joe A. Perez Jr., Gabe J. Hernandez & her husband Mr. Jose E. Hernandez her sister Delia Martinez for the immense help while caring for her father.

Visitation services will be held Saturday March 29, 2025 from 8:30 am - 10:30am at The Promise Church located 1102 75th St. Houston, Texas 77011
