

James David Key, age 63, of Hardin, Texas passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021. James was born February 24, 1958 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. James attended school in El Paso, TX and he served his country in the United States Army in 1977 for three years. He was a resident of Pasadena, TX for many years until he settled in Hardin, TX. He was a member of the American Legion.
James is preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Chandler Dixon and he is survived by his son; William Fancher of Norman, OK; sisters, Angela Helmle of La Porte, TX, Glenda Morris of Deer Park, TX, Diane Taylor of Webster, TX and Frances Proctor of Middlesex, NC; granddaughters, Toni and Sunni Fancher of Norman, OK; five nephews; three nieces; three great nephews and seven great nieces.
A family and friends reception for James will be held Monday, July 12, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Pasadena Funeral Chapel, 2203 Pasadena Boulevard, Pasadena, TX 77502, followed by a celebration of life at 2:00 PM.
