Jo Anne Ayers

She is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Ada Chappel, siblings Marie Gray, Faye Walker, C.T. Chappel, and Ruth Holloman; first husband, Lester Fitch of 25 years, second husband Edward Ayers of 25 years, and daughter Terry Newcome.

She is survived by her sisters Thelma Towne and Jane Murphy; brother Harvey Chappel; son, Stephen Fitch and wife Vivian; by grandson Nate Bennett and wife Misty; great grandchildren Kade & Annalynne; as well as other extended family and an abundance of friends.

Anne was a 25 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, most recently in the Archives Chapter No. 1095. Anne was also a devout member of South Avenue Baptist Church in Pasadena.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 10-11:00 a.m. at Pasadena Funeral Chapel located at 2203 Pasadena Blvd., TX 77502 with services immediately following at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held 1:00 pm. Wednesday, at Forest Park East Cemetery located at 21620 Gulf Fwy Webster, Texas 77598.
